Chelsea targets Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are set to be on the transfer lists of many European clubs
Many clubs have been keeping an eye on Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Chelsea are one of those clubs that expressed interest in signing Napoli’s duo. Also, Chelsea would rival Manchester United, as both are interested in signing Osimhen, according to the Mirror (via Football.London).
Before the January transfer window, Kvaratskhelia was also linked to Chelsea. His agent, Christian Emile, claimed in November on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel that the winger would probably fetch around €100 million (£87 million).
And because Osimhen is having a particularly successful season with Serie A heavyweights, Napoli has put a £100 million price tag on him. Aurelio De Laurentiis, the club’s president, however, has refuted selling either player, according to TNT Sports (h/t Football. London), as he said:
“I am very good at making contracts.”
“So when they come to me, they are blocked, so keeping them here won’t be difficult.” However, never say never. Sometimes there are offers you can’t refuse, so you never know. “To me, we’ll see them shine for a long time.”
In Serie A, the Nigerian has been outstanding this season, scoring 18 goals and dishing out three assists, while Kvaratskhelia has registered 10 goals and 11 assists. Both players have surprised everyone this season, and as a result of their impressive performance, their value has soared, which could give clubs hard time in signings Napoli’s duo.
Chelsea shouldn’t have a problem with it, though, given we were able to use our financial resources in the transfer market.
And if Chelsea are successful in acquiring one of them, they could resolve our offensive issues; yet, given our pressing need for a striker, we should opt for a 24-year-old. As we currently have a number of players who fill Kvaratskhelia’s position, Osimhen should be our first target during the summer transfer window.

However, his asking price shouldn’t be an issue because Boehly has always been confident he could work out a deal with Naples.
