Chelsea ace Reece James could be out for 4-6 weeks with ankle injury
According to a tweet put out by Dr Rajpal Brar (h/t football.london), Chelsea could lose Reece James for up to 4-6 weeks due to an ankle injury.
The 21-year-old was on show for the Blues against Manchester City on Saturday as the West London club looked to maintain their winning run. However, while the Stamford Bridge outfit continued to defend tactfully for the first half an hour, James pulled up.
Jack Grealish seemed to have accidentally tripped the ankle of his fellow countryman, and the youngster was down on the pitch.
It was quickly indicated that the wing-back would need to be substituted, and Thiago Silva was brought into the game as Azpilicueta shifted out wide.
While the Blues did end up losing the game, there could be more bad news on the way. James is now said to have had a high ankle sprain mechanism, the recovery of which will take nearly 4-6 weeks, according to a tweet put out by Dr Rajpal Brar (h/t football.london).
This would be a huge blow for Tuchel since they have a lot of games coming their way. This would not only rule out the Englishman for the game against Juventus on Wednesday, as a six-week injury would entail the full-back missing out on games until the international break in November.

The West London club are set to play seven games between the 16th of October and the 6th of November, and it would be a huge boost for Thomas Tuchel even if James can feature in half of them.
With Chelsea competing actively on all fronts this season, they will need all of his players fit and ready for the games, including the 21-year-old.
