50 goals, 65 assists – Chelsea ready to launch £80m bid for this top-class Bundesliga star

Transfer News: Chelsea ready to launch £80m offer for Jadon Sancho

According to transfer news from Daily Mail, Chelsea are preparing an £80m bid for Jadon Sancho. The Blues want to move ahead in the race for the Borussia Dortmund starlet and pip rivals Manchester United to his signature.

Four years now after leaving Manchester City, no one can say that Sancho has made the wrong decision. He has gone from an ambitious teenager to one of the best right-wingers in the game. His stats for Dortmund are rather mind-boggling. The tricky winger has made 136 appearances for the club so far, scoring 50 goals and 65 assists.

As Chelsea are trying to close this season out on a high, plans are also being drawn at the back for the next. The club is expected to hand Tuchel a good bit of cash to spend in the market to get the necessary players. One of those players is expected to be Sancho.

The German manager is said to be a fan of the winger. While Manchester United have been the main club chasing him, Chelsea are now set to enter the fray and move ahead with an opening bid of £80m. It is expected that Sancho could be heading out of Dortmund next season as he has a gentleman’s agreement with the club.
