Chelsea determined to offload £100,000k-per-week midfielder permanently

Chelsea ready to sell Carney Chukwuemeka on a permanent deal.

Following an International break, Chelsea are gearing up to come back with a stronger force in their forthcoming fixture against Bournemouth on September 15.

However, many of their unwanted players are still struggling to find a new destination for themselves. Players like Ben Chilwell, who’ve been an integral part of The Blues’ project in the initial years, are also eager to depart the club.

Recently, it has come into the limelight that the Pensioners have made a clear stance on one of their notable midfielders who is not in manager Enzo Maresca’s project now.

The Blues show no interest in sending off Carney Chukwuemeka on loan

United Kingdom-based media outlet Teamtalk has revealed that following acquiring the services of star African footballer Victor Osimhen, Galatasaray are keen to sign Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.

The Turkish club considers the 20-year-old a good prospect to further enhance their midfield as soon as possible considering that the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday. The Englishman currently earns £100,000k-per-week but has failed to mark any appearances for the Pensioners in the ongoing season so far.

Signing for Chelsea back in 2022 from Aston Villa, Chukwuemeka has made a total of 27 appearances for the Blues so far, scoring two goals and an assist.

Chelsea ready to sell Carney Chukwuemeka on a permanent deal.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has cleared Chelsea’s stance on the England U-21 international, stating that the club is only open for a permanent transfer. They are not interested in any kind of loan deal for their young footballer. Speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside for the latest edition of his Daily Briefing column, the journalist mentioned:

“Chelsea always considered Carney only available on a permanent deal, not on loan… so the only way would be to change Chelsea management’s mind, but this hasn’t happened so far.”

While it is unfortunate to see Chukwuemeka go, it also highlights the brutal nature of modern football that calls for the survival of the fittest. While the youngster does have the talent to succeed, it would appear that the Blues are ready to give up on him too soon.
