Chelsea to bolster the attacking line with Maximilian Beier

Chelsea are all set to sign their next striker after they signed Marc Guiu from Barcelona as the club has eyed German international Maximilian Beier from Bundesliga club Hoffenheim. The striker is currently on duty with the German national team in Euros 2024.

Beier has impressed in the Bundesliga with his promising performance as a striker for Hoffenheim in the last season. The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals and three assists in his 35 appearances across all competitions for the Die Kraichgauer, who finished seventh and secured the spot for the Europa League.

He is the youngest-ever Bundesliga debutant for the German club. He made his Bundesliga debut at the age of 17. Beier spent his two seasons on loan at Hannover in the second division before returning to Hoffenheim in 2023. In his loan stint, he contributed 15 goals in 68 appearances in all competitions for Hannover.

Chelsea and Manchester United have expressed their desire to sign the player and joining the English top-flight league at this tender age will help to improve the quality of the player.

Chelsea for their second striker of the summer

The starlet has a contract until 2027 with the German club, but the player is gearing up for a move this summer. Chelsea has completed initial talks with the player, and negotiations are set to start for the deal, per Give Me Sport.

Chelsea hope Beier can continue his form at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming season. The German striker has often been compared to Thomas Muller because of his playing style.

The current Chelsea squad has been blessed with some good wingers like Palmer, Noni Madueke and Mykhaylo Mudryk, who can cross the ball to the box. If the new strikers can convert it, then scoring goals would not be a huge problem for Chelsea.
