Fulham eager to retain 10-goal £30m star amid interest from Chelsea

Fulham seems determined to keep their striker, Rodrigo Muniz, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea following a fantastic second half of the Premier League season.

However, according to sources from GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham has no solid interest in the Fulham striker, despite stories from Brazil saying that both Spurs and Chelsea have targeted him.

Chelsea are set to evaluate the possibility of signing Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

Tottenham are looking for a striker in the summer transfer window; it is extremely doubtful that they would make a bid for the Brazilian, as they are instead focused on other striker options.

Muniz and Toney are the only players with Premier League experience; however, Gyokeres was on fire for Coventry City for two seasons in the Championship before an outstanding year for Sporting, Openda and Gimenez are regarded as two of Europe’s best young strikers, and Guirassy has just returned from a 28-goal season for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga.

The Fulham star came out of nowhere in the second part of the season, scoring nine goals since February, dazzling Marco Silva’s side as they easily avoided relegation by finishing in the middle of the league.

While there is no confirmation of Chelsea’s interest, it would be odd given their other goals.

Muniz’s remarkable form for the Cottagers sparked interest among Premier League supporters.

The two London teams are believed to be ‘considering’ the potential of acquiring Muniz in the summer, following his 10-goal haul in the Premier League, which prompted Silva to declare him ‘amazing’; however, signing him will cost approximately £30m, according to reports.

Regardless of Tottenham’s attitude, Fulham wants to keep Muniz and recruit another attacker to give him significant competition.
