Chelsea star thanks fans with special message after featuring in team’s heroic Euro 2024 2nd half comeback

Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk shares on Instagram after Ukraine 2-1 win vs Slovakia

Mykhaylo Mudryk shared his feelings on Instagram after Ukraine rallied from behind to earn their first Euro 2024 win against Slovakia. Chelsea star Mudryk had an impressive outing against Slovakia and made a big impact.

However, Ukraine started the game by conceding early, in 17 minutes, when Ivan Schranz gave Slovakia the lead. Ukraine toiled hard to find the equaliser and deservingly scored one when Mykola Shaparenko levelled the score.

Mudryk also had two big chances to lead his nation to a comfortable win, but his lack of clinical skills saw him miss them. But the forward was involved in the first goal, while the second goal came through substitute Roman Yaremchuk.

Ukraine are now second in their group behind Romania, only in goal difference. But credit goes to Mudryk, who was the most lively player for his nation and was a big threat from the left side, causing Slovakia players all kinds of headaches with pace.

He completed most passes, created three big chances, and also had two take-ons completed. He was instrumental in the Ukraine win against Slovakia, and now they will be motivated to reach the last 16 of Euro 2024.

When it counts most, he has once again proven why you should never write him off. Even though Mudryk’s time at Chelsea hasn’t been all sunny. He still rises to the occasion and demonstrates why you ought to back and like him no matter what. Although he still needs to work on several elements of his competencies, he has a lot of potential and will be one of the best players in the world if he keeps working on his game.
