Chelsea value transfer-listed forward at £35m but hope 2024 Euros can raise it further

Chelsea sets £35m price tag on Armando Broja, eyeing value boost from 2024 Euros

Armando Broja is allegedly worth roughly £35m to Chelsea, and the club hopes that a strong performance with the Albania national team at the European Championships will increase his value even further. This is according to Sky Sports Italy.

The Blues hope to generate finances this summer through a variety of player transactions, with Broja among those available, with AC Milan, Monaco, and undisclosed Premier League teams reportedly interested in the 22-year-old, according to The Athletic.

Broja has struggled to establish himself at Chelsea, and he also had a disappointing loan spell at Fulham in the second half of last season, so it is understandable that both sides will part ways this summer.

The striker has also opened up about his frustrations at not being given more game time at Chelsea.

Armando Broja has his say on the circumstances surrounding his departure from the Blues

The Albanian international, formerly seen as a huge talent, appeared to have the potential to make an impact in the Chelsea first team, and he also had an effective loan spell at Southampton earlier in his career.

However, he spent the second half of 2023/24 on loan at Fulham, having made only 19 appearances for the Blues up to February and scoring two goals.

He went on to make eight appearances for the Cottagers but failed to score and supplied only one assist.

However, CFC would undoubtedly consider it excellent business if they received something close to £35 m for the player, who appears to be in need of a fresh start somewhere.

Rumours have linked the Albania international star with West Ham United, Milan, and Monaco as potential suitors.

More Chelsea news

The 22-year-old striker has a contract with the Blues until 2028 (Transfermarkt), but his future in West London is unknown, with reports linking him with a move to Wolves. The Premier League’s summer transfer market starts on Friday, June 14.

It would be great to see Broja stay in the Premier League and reach his full potential, but it would also be intriguing to see what he could achieve with another opportunity at a big team like Milan.
