Mauricio Pochettino warns Chelsea players to not take Manchester United lightly

Mauricio Pochettino has advised the players not to be complacent ahead of the Manchester United game and to remain equipped for the big clash against them. United are currently sixth in the Premier League, vying for a Champions League spot.

Meanwhile, the Blues are hoping to secure a European spot for the next campaign, and both clubs have endured mixed results this season with inconsistent performances. Every game will matter now that the current campaign is entering a pivotal point and will determine each club’s standing in the Premier League.

We will need to be more than ready for the United game because Pochettino’s remarks suggest that United boasts plenty of quality to hurt us in the match. We have a lot of difficult games still in the pipeline for us this season, and losing any of them could affect where we finish in the Premier League.

And the pressure will continue to grow, as Pochettino revealed in his latest press conference ahead of the Manchester United game, where he said via Football.London:

‘’I need to be sure we cope with the pressure and perform well, and in a different way, we perform against Burnley. I think Manchester United, I need to tell you and the players to listen to me that we need to perform well.’’

United have played inconsistently, but they have an experienced team that can grind out a victory, so we will need to be prepared for the match.
