Arsenal midfielder Jorginho (h/t Football.London), might have enraged Chelsea fans with his latest story on the popular social media site, Instagram. The Italian international joined the Emirates Stadium in January after leaving London for Chelsea, which is worth £12 million.

He signed an 18-month deal in order to give Thomas Partey, the team’s starting midfielder, some competition after Mohamed Elneny sustained a long-term injury.

The former Chelsea player has undoubtedly adapted to life in north London pretty swiftly, putting on back-to-back standout performances in victories over Aston Villa and Leicester City last month.

Meanwhile, his time at Chelsea where he swiftly rose to fame and won over the fans. He also showed his best performance during the Blues’ march to the Champions League final in the 2020–21 season.

The 31-year-old later won the European Championship with Italy, which strengthened his case for winning the 2021 Ballon d’Or. Eventually, he finished third in the standings.

However, what he has done on Instagram might put his relationship with Blues fans in jeopardy as he shared a photo of the team displaying the cup on Instagram along with several applauding emojis.

And he thanked the Arsenal women’s squad on social media after beating the Blues 3-1 in the Conti Cup final on Sunday. However, Jorginho’s loyalty might come into question as it looks now clear, and Blues supporters will undoubtedly be miffed with the player for choosing to celebrate their defeat.

It’s acceptable to congratulate and praise your Women’s team for a job well done because he was interested in backing the Arsenal women’s team, as any player should.

Given who Arsenal women’s team defeated, there may be some doubts raised, and this will undoubtedly land the Jorginho in hot water.

And it will give mixed feelings if the midfielder truly intended to back the Arsenal Women’s team or is just expressing his displeasure with Chelsea for selling him to Arsenal in January.
