Transfer News: Chelsea and Arsenal interested in Inter Milan starlet Cesare Casadei
In what seems a battle for a future star, London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal are set to lock horns for the signature of Cesare Casadei, according to The Sun. The 19-year-old Inter Milan Under-19 player is considered the jewel of the Nerazzurri’s youth side.
The Blues had bid £7 million for the player but saw that offer get rejected. The Serie A giants are hoping to get around £17 million for the midfielder. Arsenal are said to be considering an offer closer to their valuation.
Casadei is yet to make his debut for the senior team but has already attracted the attention of top Premier League clubs. The Blues have added quite a few players in their academy this summer and have identified another for the same.
