With Chelsea in dire need of reinforcements at the back, it’s no wonder that we’re going after the 20-year-old. The Blues lost two prominent centre-backs at the end of last season. We’ve only brought in one defender in Kalidou Koulibaly till now.

Other defensive options such as Cesar Azpilicueta, Malang Sarr, Levi Colwill and Marcos Alonso have uncertain futures. Thus Chelsea need to go out in the market and strengthen the squad.
