According to popular Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea star Mason Mount has been waiting for a new contract offer from the club for months with the board also said to be tying the player down to a long-term deal as soon as possible.
One of the biggest prospects to arrive out of the famed Cobham conveyor belt, Mount broke through in the first team under former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and has since then gone on to develop into one of the best players in the Premier League.
