“Not for everyone” – Fans react as Chelsea head into the semi-final of the FA Cup

Chelsea registered an impressive win against Middlesbrough to enter the next round of the FA Cup. The Blues opened the scoring early in the game and there was no looking back after that.

The Blues broke the deadlock via Romelu Lukaku in the 15th minute. It didn’t take a long time for the West Londoners to get back on the scoresheet as Hakim Ziyech doubled their lead in the 31st minute. Boro failed to manage a single shot on target in their encounter as Chelsea cruised to an easy victory.

The defending UEFA Champions League winners had the majority of the possession and capitalized on it beautifully. This game would also do a world of good for the confidence of the Belgian striker who has found it difficult to find the target recently.

This victory would also provide the Stamford Bridge outfit with some good momentum as they head into the business end of the season. Thomas Tuchel has done a great job in marshaling his troops despite the uncertainties that have been looming around the club in lieu of the sanctions.

The West Londoners will take on Brentford on 2nd April in the Premier League before facing Real Madrid on 7th March in the quarter-final of the UEFA Champions League. The German boss has shown great tactical adaptability in a crunch period and the likes of Ziyech have stepped up whenever required.

The club still has a lot to look forward to and would be gunning to get their hands on more silverware before the end of the season. We hope that the Blues can keep up these kinds of performances and maybe,(a big maybe) this match could be the catalyst for Lukaku to find his feet in front of the goal once again.
