“The best”-Terry concedes key advantage to City in PL title race

John Terry concedes Manchester City has advantage over Chelsea in Premier League title race

Chelsea legend John Terry has made his Premier League prediction and he feels that reigning champions Manchester City have one key advantage in the Premier League race over his former team.

The Blue are currently top of the Premier League table, leading The Citizens by three points after 11 matches. The west Londoners have already lost to City this season.

Although the defeat was a blow to the west Londoners, it never disrupted the group of players and Tuchel managed to build that hunger within the squad to bounce back after a setback. And since then they have been pretty impressive.

But Terry himself has hinted at one key advantage Pep Guardiola and his side have over Thomas Tuchel’s troops. Replying to a tweet after the Manchester derby from former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen, Terry wrote (h/t Football.London):

“Two teams [City and United] who are worlds apart. Man City are a joy to watch in possession, and a great example to teams nowhere near as good as them out of possession.”

With a Champions League winners medal already in Tuchel’s locker, the hunger for a Premier League title is intensified and the Blues have meant business so far this season.

“Pep drives and demands that from every single player, every ship needs one captain and he is the best.”
