21-year-old Chelsea target playing in Germany makes private admission on PL move next year

Transfer News: Chelsea target Erling Haaland could be open to a move to England next season

According to AS (h/t The Express), Chelsea target Erling Haaland has admitted privately that a move to England could be on the cards next season.

The 21-year-old Borussia Dortmund star is among the best players in world football and a serial goalscorer. With 13 goals and four assists in nine games, he continues to soar to greater heights.

His performances have caught the attention of not only Chelsea but also Manchester United, Manchester United and Liverpool. Haaland looks set for a new challenge next summer and could be on the move.

According to the report, the player privately admitted that a move to England could be the best for his development. His father, Alfe-Inge Haaland, played in the Premier League for Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Manchester City in the past.

Haaland’s release clause of around £68million becomes active next summer and it represents a steal for a player who could be a potential world-beater. Chelsea have shown in the past that they are not averse to splash the cash.

The Blues broke their club record to bring Romelu Lukaku back to the Bridge earlier this summer. The Belgian has been a mixed bag so far and it remains to be seen what the future holds.

Timo Werner has fallen short of expectations and has not taken his game to the next level. Whether the club are willing to sacrifice any of their players in order to land Haaland remains to be seen.
