Speaking to the club’s official website (h/t Football.london), Petr Cech has claimed that the winner of Chelsea vs Manchester City will hold an advantage over the weekend. The Chelsea legend feels that the early kick-off will aid the winner as they can relax and see the other clubs play without any worry.
The Premier League is slowly gathering pace as some sections of the table are taking shape. There have been a few surprises while others have fared as expected. Chelsea are joint top with Liverpool, trailed by Manchester United on goal difference. The Blues have a tough challenge on their hands for the week.
A visit from Manchester City is on the agenda for tomorrow and rather early. The clash could have some implications for the top of the table as a win for Chelsea would further strengthen their title credentials. However, a win for City could send them top of the table, taking into account other results.
