Trevoh Chalobah believes Chelsea will be up for the game on Saturday against Manchester City
Speaking in an interview (h/t Mirror), Trevoh Chalobah believes Chelsea are ready for a ‘massive’ game against Manchester City on the weekend.
The European Champions will play the Premier League champions on Saturday, and it could be an intriguing affair. Thomas Tuchel has brought about a huge change at the West London club since he arrived at the start of the year.
The Stamford Bridge outfit beat Man City thrice between April & May, including the Champions League final at the end of the season. Into the new season, and the Blues are currently sitting top of the Premier League table while the Citizens are not too far behind on 5th place, just 3 points away.
That gap could be eliminated if the Etihad outfit defeat Tuchel & co on the weekend. However, Chelsea starlet Trevoh Chalobah believes his side will be ready for the daunting test against the reigning champions of the land.
“It’s very important, it’s massive for us because of where we both are in the league right now. I think we’ve done well in big games this season against big opponents, and it’s another chance for us to go out there and show what we’ve got, what we’re about, and the way we’ve started this season, we should go into the game full of confidence.
“They’re a very good side, full of quality players, and we know the dangers they can cause, but we’ll be ready for them.”
