Report: Chelsea amongst PL clubs chasing 24-year-old French winger

Transfer News: Chelsea amongst clubs chasing Newcastle United star Allan Saint-Maximin

According to transfer news for Calciomercato (h/t Football.london), Chelsea are among the clubs chasing Allan Saint-Maximin. Premier League rivals Liverpool and Everton are the other two sides who are said to be after the enigmatic winger from Newcastle United.

In all honesty, Newcastle are not exactly a very exciting side to watch. However, when the ball falls on the feet of a certain Allan Saint-Maximin, fireworks tend to happen. The Frenchman is a skilful attacker who likes to take on his opponents and tries to get the better of them with his immaculate skills.

Since joining Newcastle, he has scored nine goals and assisted 14. While those are not really boastful numbers, it is his goal threat that he brings to the side who are not really known to hit the back of the net on frequent occasions. He has, however, started the current season like a house on fire.

Saint-Maximin is one of the most exciting wingers in the Premier League and it was probably only a matter of time before other top clubs took an interest in the 24-year-old. Now, a trio of Premier League clubs are said to be after him (h/t Football.london). Chelsea are among those three while the others are Liverpool and Everton.

But there is no harm in trying for Marina Granovskaia and co.
