According to Fabrizio Romano, the Chelsea quartet of Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen, Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are in line to receive new contracts. Chelsea have already started talks with the two defenders while the midfielders are next in line.

One look at Chelsea and there is a sense of unity and togetherness in the side. The players have learnt to be a formidable force and they won the Champions League last season. There were several players who played their part to perfection and they deserve to be rewarded based on those performances.

Hence, the Blues are set to offer four of their core players news deals, as claimed by reputed journalist Fabrizio Romano. Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen were imperious at the back for Thomas Tuchel as Chelsea showed resoluteness in defence. Rudiger is in talks over a salary hike while an agreement has almost been reached with Christensen.

Jorginho and N’Golo Kante are arguably two of the best midfielders in Europe currently and they were vital to the club’s success last season. While talks have not begun with the duo over a new contract, they are the next two in line for new deals. These new contracts for the key players are understood to be of vital importance to Chelsea.
