According to Jan Aage Fjortoft (h/t Football.london), Chelsea are ready to sell as many as three first-team stars to generate funds that could be utilised to sign Erling Haaland.

It is no secret that the Blues are intent on bringing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund to the club this summer. However, the 20-year-old Norwegian international is likely to cost £150m in the current transfer market, which would mean that Chelsea will need to generate funds from player sales.

As a result, three first-team members could be set to be shown the exit doors this summer, with Chelsea considering the possibility of selling Hakim Ziyech, Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Ziyech arrived at Chelsea only last summer but endured a difficult debut season at the Bridge. The Moroccan international has been heavily linked with a move to AC Milan. Hudson-Odoi, meanwhile, featured regularly early in Tuchel’s tenure but saw game-time come at a premium as the season progressed. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund remain interested.

As for Abraham, the academy graduate fell down the pecking order quite drastically last season, hardly featuring under Tuchel. The Englishman is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League, with Leicester City, West Ham among the clubs keen.

The report further adds that Chelsea could stand to make as much as £97.2m from the sales based on the players’ values on Transfermarkt, with Ziyech and Abraham both marked at £34.2m while Hudson-Odoi is valued at £28.8m.
