Chelsea star Mason Mount delivers special message to superfan Belle McNally
As reported by Football.london, Chelsea and England superstar Mason Mount delivered a special message to 10-year-old superfan, Belle McNally, after his touching gesture towards her at Wembley.
Following England’s semi-final victory over Denmark at the UEFA Euro 2020 earlier this week, Mount was spotted gifting his shirt to a young fan in the stands. The fan, 10-year-old Belle’s reaction to the moment went viral after the special gesture from the Chelsea midfielder as she burst into tears of joy.
“I’m going to frame it. I don’t want to sell or wash it. I didn’t realise until the last moment because when he walked over, he was coming in my direction but he was looking the other way so I didn’t expect it. When he came over and stood right in front of me, that’s when I finally realised I had it in my hands and it was just crazy.”
Following the incident, Belle, along with her father, made an appearance on ITV’s This Morning show, where presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby showed them a special message from Mount.
“Hi Belle, it’s Mason here. I just wanted to do this message for you and say how special your reaction was after the game when I gave you my shirt.
“Obviously we won the game and that was a big achievement, but that really topped it off for me. It made it even a special night for me. Thank you for all your support- it really means a lot to me. And hopefully see you Sunday.”

It was really a warm gesture from Mount, who will now switch his focus to going all the way with England when they face Italy on Sunday at the finals.
