Transfer News: Chelsea to pass up on Harry Kane

According to transfer news from Express, Chelsea are set to pass up on the signing of Harry Kane. It has been said that the Blues are not going to go after any big-money striker in the summer transfer window.

Harry Kane has been the main man for Spurs for a while now. However, after another trophyless season, it seems as if he has reached his boiling point. The striker has asked the club to allow him to leave at the end of this season and accept an offer for him.

That led to clubs such as Chelsea going after Kane given the striker problems at the club. It is a concerning stat that Chelsea’s top scorer this season is Jorginho with only 7 goals. The forwards Chelsea have at their disposal come with their own set of problems.

Hence, it was a surprising bit of a report to learn that not only would Chelsea be withdrawing from the race for Kane but also refrain from signing any big-money striker. It has been said that unless Tammy Abraham leaves, money will not be spent on a striker. If he does, Chelsea will still not match the valuation set by Daniel Levy for Kane.

More Chelsea News:

Kane has been consistently among the top goalscorers in the Premier League over the past few years. A model professional and a leader, the 27-year-old could be a game-changing sign for Chelsea if the club wanted to pull it off ahead of the likes of Manchester United and City.
