Transfer News: Jude Bellingham declared ‘untouchable’ amid links with Chelsea and Manchester United
According to transfer expert and Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is ‘not for sale’ amid links with Chelsea.
The 17-year-old went to the Bundesliga last summer from Birmingham City and has been a hit since then. He has made an astounding 43 appearances for the German side this season, scoring 4 goals and assisting 4 times during that stint. (h/t transfermarkt)
Chelsea are one club that has taken an interest in the young Englishman as Tuchel looks to add depth to his midfield. Apart from them, Manchester United are also said to ‘appreciate’ the player. (h/t Fabrizio Romano)
But according to Romano, Dortmund will not negotiate any deal that sees Bellingham leave Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
Bye Jude
‘Untouchable’ – Borussia Dortmund position about Jude Bellingham is still clear. They won’t negotiate with any club to sell Bellingham in the summer, there are no talks. Man Utd, Chelsea as many other clubs appreciate him, but Jude is considered ‘not for sale’.

That comes as a blow for Chelsea who were, as recently as end-April, linked with a move to get him to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea might have a plethora of midfielders on paper, but Bellingham is one player that is worth breaking the bank for.
It is rare for 17-year-olds to become first-team starters for a big club like Dortmund and one can imagine the levels Bellingham could reach under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel if he was to join Chelsea.

And considering the youngster joined Germany just last year, it would be peculiar if he was to leave the club after just one season, although stranger things have happened in football. But for now, it seems like Bellingham is staying put.
