“Feels good” – Chelsea star all ready to get going after the international break

Christian Pulisic ready to get going for Chelsea after international break

According to news from the club’s official site, Christian Pulisic is ready to get going for Chelsea after the international break. The US international has returned to camp after the two international games against Jamaica and Northern Ireland.

Pulisic was again the main man for the USMNT as they won both the international friendlies in a convincing manner. He even got a goal against Northern Ireland that turned out to be an important one.

Now that he is back with the club, he has outlined how this break can help him spur on.

‘It always feels good, of course, to get on the scoresheet. It’s definitely going to help build some confidence. I’m feeling good right now, and the guys are feeling good as it seemed here.

For me personally as well, going back to the club level, I’m really excited. I’m feeling confident, as I’ve said. I feel the best I’ve felt in my game for a while, so I’m excited for what’s to come.’

Prior to Tuchel’s arrival, Pulisic was one of the most important players for Chelsea under Frank Lampard. Under Tuchel, most players have received chances to showcase their talent.

However, there seemed to be no place for the USMNT star in the new setup under Tuchel until the last few games before the break.

Normal duty resumes for the club and players after a two-week hiatus. While it wasn’t any break for most as they featured for their nations, a lot of them such as Pulisic could get game time and confidence. It bodes well for him given how unlucky he has been this season with injuries.
