Glenn Hoddle speaks out on Tammy Abraham’s situation at Chelsea
Speaking to Evening Standard, Glenn Hoddle addressed the situation of Tammy Abraham at Chelsea and gave some insight. He spoke about the issue being faced by the youngster due to injuries and selection.
From the up, Hoddle felt that Abraham’s ankle issue is the main problem. He feels that the youngster needs to get that sorted. Squad rotations have happened at Chelsea and despite that, Abraham has not featured for us.
“I would imagine it is down to his ankle not being right”, Hoddle said.
“Managers nowadays will rotate, even on the bench, and I think that has been happening at Chelsea. I would imagine it is down to that ankle, he has to get that right.”
The former Chelsea player added that young players have to overcome a lot in their careers. Some players are lucky to not have many injury issues. He thinks that Abraham is worried about the injuries and not getting those chances, which has led to this whole situation.
