Florian Aye wants to play for Chelsea in the future
According to the club’s official website, Florian Aye has the ambition of playing for Chelsea in the future. The French striker explained why he would like to don the blue of Stamford Bridge later in his career.
A youth product of CS Quincy, Florian Aye spent time at the academies of US Moissy Cramayel, CS Bretigny and AJ Auxerre. It was only at Auxerre that he settled down and spent quite some time there before being promoted to the senior side in 2015. In three seasons, he went on to appear for them close to 60 times.
He left for Clermont Foot in 2018 and enjoyed a much more prolific spell. In 41 games, he scored 19 and assisted 5. However, he would just stay there for one season before moving to Brescia in Serie B. This season has been fantastic for the striker, with 10 goals already in the bag.
Aye spoke about wanting to play for Chelsea someday and has been a fan of the club for a while now.
‘I dream of playing for Chelsea. I would love to win a title like the Premier League or Champions League. Sometimes, I even think about it in the middle of the day.
When I was little, my father bought me Arjen Robben’s shirt. I always followed Chelsea, my favourite player Didier Drogba went there, and I think that strengthened my attachment to the club.’
