Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi admits he is still ironing out his flaws
According to the club’s official website, Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi admits he is still working on improving his game.
The 20-year-old has a decent return of five goals and two assists in 16 games so far this season. Despite the promise shown, he believes there are still flaws in his game to be ironed out.
Having made his breakthrough in 2018, Hudson-Odoi was heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich. He, however, stayed put and penned fresh terms at Chelsea till 2024. (h/t Daily Mail)
“Nobody is a perfect player. There are always flaws and you want to keep improving every day.”
Hudson-Odoi is aware he needs to do more and intends to achieve just that. He also stated his belief that Frank Lampard knows what is best for him.
A Chelsea legend, the boss knows all it takes to become a great player. Hudson-Odoi will do well to listen and learn.
“I want to keep working hard and learning every day. I want to keep educating myself whether it’s at home watching clips or just learning under the manager.”
“Every time I get on the pitch or in training, I want to give my best every time. I want to give 110 percent in the match.”
The player is also keen to apply himself well in training. Hudson-Odoi clearly has his priorities right. As long as he stays true to his words, he has every chance of stepping up his game.
Whether that happens or not remains to be seen. The signs so far are promising, however. The 20-year-old was among the scorers against Morecambe on Sunday.
