Fans react as Chelsea star Christian Pulisic is injured in pre-match warmup
In yet another frustrating incident, Chelsea star Christian Pulisic injured himself in the pre-match warmup against Burnley.
The 22-year-old was due to start the game but has since been replaced. German ace Timo Werner took his spot in the XI.
Pulisic missed the start of the season, thanks to a hamstring injusy sustained in the FA Cup final last season. Things were looking up after he made it to the starting XI for our matches against Southampton, Sevilla and Manchester United.
With Hakim Ziyech also back fit, the prospect of seeing the duo rip up opposition defences was highly anticipated.
Injuries have been a constant bane for Pulisic. Since joining the club in 2019, he has missed 22 games owing to injury setbacks.
