Inter Milan ready to sell two players to fund N’Golo Kante move
According to Gazzetta dello Sport (h/t Football.london), Inter Milan are considering offloading key stars Milan Skriniar and Marcelo Brozovic in order to generate funds to sign Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
Kante has been with Chelsea for four years now, having joined from Leicester City in the summer of 2016.
Barring last season, when he struggled with a spate of injuries, the Frenchman has been an ever-present in the starting XI since joining the club. He has won a Premier League title, an FA Cup and the Europa League with the team so far.
Chelsea’s reported interest in West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice has led to speculations over Kante’s future at the club, with Inter Milan keen on snapping up the World Cup winner. (h/t Football.london)
The Nerazzurri had reportedly put forth an offer that would have seen either of Marcelo Brozovic or Christian Eriksen move to the Bridge as part of the deal to sign the Frenchman. However, they were shot down by Chelsea. (h/t The Telegraph)
But former Blues’ boss Antonio Conte, now at the helm at Inter, seems dead set on signing Kante. And as a result, he is now prepared to sanction the sales of two key players in Milan Skriniar and Brozovic to fund a move for the diminutive Frenchman. (h/t Football.london)

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, for his part, has repeatedly insisted that Kante remains a key part of the team and will not be sold this summer.
So, even if Inter come up with a cash-only offer for the services of the midfield star, a transfer seems highly unlikely this summer.
