According to the report, Bayern believes the player could now be on the market. This has been attributed to what has been a busy transfer season at Chelsea.

The Blues have brought in the likes of Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. With the likes of Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic already at the club, competition for places is tough.

With the Euros set to take place next summer, Hudson-Odoi is aware that he needs to play regularly to make it to Gareth Southgate’s squad. That is far from guaranteed at Stamford Bridge.

In fact, the youngster was informed by Frank Lampard that he could be loaned out.

Signing fresh terms last summer should have been a turning point in the youngster’s Chelsea career. Unfortunately, it proved to be anything but.

He had an injury-hit 2019/20 campaign, which restricted him to just 7 Premier League starts all season. Problems off the field that cast him in poor light did little to help a disappointing season on the pitch.
