Chelsea stars back in training ahead of the season opener against Brighton

Chelsea kick off their 2020/21 Premier League campaign with the away trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on September 14.

With the match just four days away, the Blues have stepped up their training leading up to the clash. There is much anticipation among Chelsea fans following what has been a dream summer transfer window.

The images show new signing Kai Havertz and Timo Werner look sharp ahead of what could be their debut in Blue.

Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell were not pictured in the session, casting doubt on their ability to play a part against the Seagulls.

Imperious winger Christian Pulisic, arguably our best player last year, also looks set to return as he looked comfortable on the pitch. Mason Mount and Jorginho too are now back from quarantine and international duty respectively.
