Twitter reacts as Christian Pulisic serves up brilliant cameo at Anfield
Chelsea star Christian Pulisic showed the fans once again that he could be a very special player for the club.
Brought on with the team trailing 4-1, he immediately set up fellow substitute Tammy Abraham to reduce the deficit to two goals.
It was his first action in a match that rained goals at both ends. The American skipped past four Liverpool players to set up his teammate while making it seem like child’s play.
Pulisic was far from done and scored a brilliantly crafted goal to give us hope of staging an amazing comeback.
Unfortunately, that was as good as it got as the Reds defence woke up and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain put Liverpool out of sight.
Pulisic has shown he has what it takes to become an extremely special player for us. By breaching both the 10-goal and the 10-assist barrier, he has shown that the club was right to put faith in him.
The prospect of a fully fit Pulisic linking up with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner is a mouth water prospect.

… and the season isn’t over yet. #CFC #LIVCHE
Unpopular opinion: Christian Pulisic is as good at 21 as Eden Hazard was at 21.

He has the natural dribbling expertise and ability to take charge of a game, but is also scoring more regularly. He now has the same amount of goals as Eden at 21 in 10 less games. Huge talent. pic.twitter.com/ip2U7gWDNx

Christian Pulisic being benched today against Liverpool has the same effect as if Messi were to be benched in the context of the diabolical Barcelona team that he’s in right now. They’re both too crucial to be left out of important games, dictating how the rest of the team plays.
