The two ex-Blues’ stars that Fernandes selected in his five-a-side dream team were defender Ricardo Carvalho and midfielder Deco. Explaining his selection, the Portuguese international said (h/t Football.london):

“Ricardo Carvalho in defence. He’s one of the best defenders we’ve had in Portugal of all time. I’d put Deco. For Portugal, he’s side by side with Rui Costa as one of the best number 10s we’ve had, so I’ll put Deco in for sure.”

Apart from the aforementioned ex-Chelsea duo, Fernandes picked current Wolves’ goalkeeper Rui Patricio as his goalkeeper. He also opted for another Wolves’ star, Joao Moutinho, in the middle of the park. (h/t Football.london)

Interestingly, the only player he picked from Manchester United was ex-Red Devil Cristiano Ronaldo. (h/t Football.london)
