Chelsea in pole position to land Kai Havertz

According to a report from the Daily Mail, Chelsea are set to close the deal for the signing of Bayer Leverkusen and Germany star Kai Havertz, as no other clubs are willing to meet his release clause.

The 21-year-old Havertz has emerged as one of the top young players in Europe, after enjoying a sensational 2019/20 campaign with Leverkusen.

Havertz has racked up amazing returns of 17 goals and 9 assists from 43 games in all competitions and could add to that tally in the Europa League next month, provided he stays at the club till then.
