Chelsea could sell N’Golo Kante to fund Kai Havertz
According to the Express, N’Golo Kante could be one of the players to be sold by Chelsea, in order to raise funds for Kai Havertz.
The Blues have already made a significant investment in bringing in Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner. Havertz is a key summer transfer target but will cost us in the tune of around £90m. (h/t Express)

Currently nursing another hamstring injury, his time at the club could be up. Having joined the club in 2016, he has since made 169 appearances for Chelsea, bagging 11 goals and 7 assists.
Kante won the PFA Players’ Player of the Year, FWA Footballer of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season awards in his first season at the club.

Kante has been a key player for Chelsea since he joined from Leicester City. It is fair to say that his injuries have reduced his impact somewhat in the squad.
With him already 29, the club must take the necessary steps to ensure a change of guard takes place when necessary. Sometimes one has to take a step backward to take two forward and with Kante, we might need to do just that.
