He revealed that he has not yet made a decision on his future and will wait till June to do so. He admitted that he has not heard from Real Madrid regarding the issue, but expects it to be resolved soon.

“In June I will have to make a decision and it will be a great step for my career.”

Zidane intends to talk to the player at the end of the season. According to the report, Hakimi is not keen to stay on at Real as Dani Carvajal’s backup.

The Spaniard is the undisputed starter in his position at Real and it remains to be seen how the Spanish giants handle it.

He will not be short of suitors though and Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign him on a permanent basis. He has two more years left on his contract at Real, giving the La Liga giants enough leeway in negotiations.

Chelsea already have Cesar Azpilicueta and the upcoming Reece James at right-back. Signing Hakimi would make sense considering he can also play left-back.
