Chelsea star Mason Mount violates order of self-isolation
According to a report by Daily Mail, Chelsea starlet Mason Mount was recently spotted playing five-a-side football with West Ham United ace Declan Rice.
As a result, he has directly violated orders of self-isolation after teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for coronavirus.
The report adds that the entire squad had to self-isolate to adhere to government guidelines but Mount has clearly breached the same, thus risking the ire of manager Frank Lampard.
Until the season was brought to an abrupt end because of the growing concerns surrounding the epidemic, Chelsea were doing well enough in the Premier League.
Placed 4th in the standings as of now, Lampard’s young team has exceeded expectations this term. And Mount played a starring role in all of the successes.
It is indeed necessary to exercise caution at a time like this. Granted, this is not too bad when one looks at the bigger picture. After all, Mount was just playing football with his West Ham counterpart.
