Recovering Chelsea starlet shows a nice gesture by posing with young fan after U23 game

Ruben Loftus-Cheek poses for photo with young fan after Chelsea U23 win

According to a report by Football.london, Chelsea starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek posed with a young fan for a picture after the final whistle of the U23 side’s triumph over Everton U23s.

The 24-year-old was a driving force in the midfield and played the full 90 minutes as the Blues’ U23 side romped home to a win.

While his display on the field was simply brilliant, what he did later won over the hearts of everyone watching. He made a child’s day as he stopped to pose for a selfie as soon as the final whistle was blown (h/t Football.london).

Loftus-Cheek’s impressive performance has come at the right time, considering the fact that Frank Lampard could do with a player like him in the midfield.

The fact that he lasted the full 90 minutes on the pitch does come as good news. The report adds that a return to the first-team could be in the picture for the midfielder.

Having trained with the first-team for nearly a month (h/t Football.london), the time is right for him to make a foray into the first-team as well.
