Chelsea want £6.5million from Inter Milan for Oliver Giroud

The French World Cup winner who is out of contract in the summer has already agreed to personal terms with the Italian giants.

Inter, managed by former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wanted to prise away the £4.5million but the Blues are adamant on their £6.5million valuation of the player.

Speaking about Giroud’s future, Lampard was quite open regarding the striker’s chances of leaving.

“With Oli the situation is if it’s right for everybody and first and foremost that’s the club as he is under contract then we will look at whether he can leave the club.”

Giroud joined from rivals Arsenal in 2018 and scored against his former club in the 2019 UEFA Europa League final as Chelsea won 4-1.

Giroud has won 97 caps for his country and has scored 39 goals.
