Chelsea-bound Alvaro Morata is not interested in his return to the Premier League next season (h/t Daily Mail).
The Spaniard is currently on loan at Atletico Madrid and is bound to return to the Stamford Bridge this summer.
Morata clearly struggled at Stamford Bridge with recurring injury woes and lack of form.
However, the former Juventus star clearly rejuvenated himself in Spain after an impressive loan spell under Diego Simeone.
The 26-year-old bagged 6 goals in 15 games since joining the La Liga side in January. Morata said (h/t Daily Mail),
“I want to be here, I’m going to do everything I can to continue playing here. I do not even consider going to another club. I’m delighted and I think I have to do a lot of things here.
“I do not have anything else in mind, I would like to be at Atletico Madrid all the years that I have left of my career, to be as important as possible in the future.”
Atletico are keen on keeping Morata permanently after they were asked to pay £15.5million by the Blues (h/t Daily Mail).
Meanwhile, the Blues dealt with a major blow after FIFA handed them a transfer ban for the next two transfer windows. The Londoners finished third in the Premier League despite what it looked an eventful season for Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian manager has a chance to win his only silverware when his side faces Arsenal in the Europa League final.
