The forward was on fire for the Bavarians as he scored a pair in the 5-0 destruction of Borussia Dortmund recently.

The report adds that Jurgen Klopp is also eyeing his former striker, but so far, only Chelsea have made contact with the forward.

Chelsea also looking at some changes in the squad

The Mirror adds that Chelsea are looking for a quality forward after sending Alvaro Morata away on loan to Atletico Madrid.

Olivier Giroud hasn’t done all that well this season and has spent more time on the bench than playing. Gonzalo Higuain joined in the winter window, but the Argentine is yet to show his best for the Blues.
