Chelsea have asked Barcelona to keep them informed should the Catalans decide to sell Philippe Coutinho, according to the Express.
The Brazilian only joined the La Liga giants from Liverpool last January for £142million (h/t Express). This season has been a struggle for the former Liverpool man with Ousmane Dembele taking up his place in recent weeks.
The report adds that Barcelona are open to selling Coutinho to fund a move for Neymar and Manchester United have made an enquiry about the Catalan star.
Chelsea have been told that the player could be bought for £100million. The report adds that the Blues will battle United for the former Red.
The report adds that Coutinho wants things to work out in Spain but is open to a move away if things don’t improve.
The Brazilian would make an excellent signing for Maurizio Sarri and provide us with some creativity in the midfield. The Blues have struggled to get the attack going this season and failed to impress in the recent loss to Arsenal.
Things don’t get easier for us as we have to turn a deficit around in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Tottenham midweek.

Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley haven’t done enough to help out the attack this season. Thus, bringing Coutinho back to the Premier League would be a smart move given his exploits with Liverpool.
