Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Elseid Hysaj, has claimed his client could extend his stay at Napoli unless a suitable offer is received in the January window.

Hysaj has been linked with a move to Chelsea (h/t Express) and is expected to cost around £45million. The Express adds that Maurizio Sarri rates the right-back highly after their time at Napoli and might have to move for the player quickly.

Cesar Azpilicueta needs some competition, and Lazio are interested in Davide Zappacosta (h/t Express).

Giuffredi spoke about Carlo Ancelotti respecting Hysaj and claimed there was interest from the Blues (h/t Express):

“He confirmed his faith in him. Of course, the January transfer window is always to be evaluated and there has been talk of Chelsea, for example.

“If there are situations that are mutually advantageous, then we’d evaluate them.

“If nothing happens in January, then we’ll discuss a contract extension.”

The report adds that the Albanian has a contract until 2021 and there could be some moves before the end of the winter window.

Cesc Fabregas signed for Monaco, and the report claims that we are in the hunt for a replacement.

The Blues have lost their way a bit after a great start under Sarri. The goals don’t seem to be coming easily and we need to get some players in to ensure a top-four finish at least.

The Napoli man would make a great signing for the Blues given he is just 24 and has the potential to improve under his former boss.
