Olivier Giroud to lead the line? Predicted Chelsea 4-3-3 line-up to face Crystal Palace

Chelsea have the chance to cement their place in the top four as they face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Sunday. The Blues picked up a win in their previous game and with Liverpool beating Arsenal, there is a chance to pull away from the Gunners.

The Eagles will not be easy as they defeated Manchester City recently, but Maurizio Sarri doesn’t have many injury concerns apart from Pedro.

The Spaniard is a doubt for the clash and we could see one of our strikers start. Here is my predicted line-up for the Palace clash.

Predicted Chelsea XI

Formation: 4-3-3

Manager: Maurizio Sarri

Kepa Arrizabalaga (GK)

Kepa did a decent job in the 2-1 win over Watford, and the Spaniard has to be at his best against the Eagles on Sunday.

Cesar Azpilicueta (RB)

The Spaniard has been decent in recent weeks and it would be weird if Sarri decides to shake things up at the back.

Anotnio Rudiger
Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger (CB)

Rudiger has been a mainstay in our defence this season, and the German should continue in the team.

David Luiz (CB)

The Brazilian might have an error or two in him but he is preferred by the boss and he will line up alongside Rudiger in the heart of the defence.

Marcos Alonso (LB)

The left-back hasn’t been at his best this season, however, he should keep his place in the team.

N’Golo Kante (CM)

The Frenchman will start this game for sure and hopefully, he has a great game in the middle of the park.

Jorginho (CM)

It will be impossible to think of a Premier League side put out by Sarri without Jorginho, so the Italian should start on Sunday.

Mateo Kovacic (CM)

The Croatian got a start against Watford and should remain in the side ahead of Ross Barkley.

Eden Hazard Chelsea
Eden Hazard and the Chelsea players celebrate

Eden Hazard (LW)

Hazard scored a brace in our 2-1 win over the Hornets last time around, and the Belgian will be our biggest threat on Sunday.

Olivier Giroud (ST)

Sarri might prefer playing Hazard as a false-9, but we should give Olivier Giroud a start in this game to provide us with more physicality up top.

Willian (RW)

The Brazilian should start on Sunday given Pedro is a doubt for the game.
