Elseid Hysaj’s agent has spoken about Chelsea’s interest in the Napoli right-back and stated what could be the value of his client.
The Daily Star reports that Chelsea were keeping an eye on the Albanian in the summer and expected to sign him from Napoli.
However, only Jorginho joined the Blues from Naples in the summer but Mario Giuffredi, his agent, and told Radio CRC (h/t Daily Star):
“Chelsea in for Hysaj? If you see Napoli are playing Malcuit and looking at other players, clearly it means that there are also enquiries.”
The agent added that the player could do well in the Premier League and is worth a lot of money.
“Hysaj is a player who can do well in English football, given he’s very physical and being watched by big clubs.
“Is he worth €50m? He’s worth €60m for me.”
Chelsea have played Cesar Azpilicueta as the first-choice right-back this season with Davide Zappacosta replacing the Spaniard in some of our cup games.
Hysaj linked up with Maurizio Sarri during their time at Empoli and Napoli and could be a decent right-back to add to the side.
The 24-year-old clearly knows our manager well, and the report claims that Kevin Malcuit has taken over from Hysaj in Napoli’s starting XI.
