Barcelona have drawn up a list of 15 defenders they are keeping tabs on, and the list includes Chelsea star David Luiz, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Mirror).
The report claims the Catalan giants are facing a defensive crisis as Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen are out injured.
Another Premier League defender on their list is Laurent Koscielny, despite the fact that the Arsenal star is injured at the moment.
Luiz has become a starter under Maurizio Sarri this season and has helped us to an unbeaten campaign so far.
We are second in the Premier League standings and are just a couple of points behind Manchester City.
The 31-year-old has played 11 Premier League games for us and has formed an outstanding partnership with Antonio Rudiger at the back.
This is in stark contrast with his time under Antonio Conte last season where he barely played in the second half of the campaign.
Barcelona might be interested in the Brazilian but it doesn’t make sense for us to sell him. Chelsea have Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen as the other central defenders on the books but the pair has not impressed this season.

Luiz is enjoying a great season with the Blues and will be crucial to our chances of winning silverware under the manager.
