Chelsea have offered N’Golo Kante a new deal to fend off interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Mirror.
The French midfielder helped the Blues to the Premier League title a couple of seasons ago and won the league previously with Leicester City too.
The 27-year-old has been one of the best players in the league since making his debut with the Foxes and has slotted into an advanced role under Maurizio Sarri with ease.
The report adds that Kante has three years left on his current deal with Chelsea. However, the Stamford Bridge club want to tie him down for longer as PSG are in the market for a defensive midfielder.
The Frenchman was linked with a move to PSG in the summer (h/t ESPN), but Chelsea kept hold of their star. Kante has played 10 games for the Blues this season and has one goal to his name too.
The midfielder is one of our most important players at the club, and we should not be thinking of selling him at any price.
The Blues are doing extremely well in Sarri’s first season in charge. We are currently unbeaten in all competitions and are tied at the top of the Premier League.

Kante is an important player for our title run in and if he plays to his best, we could be celebrating a trophy at the end of the season.
