Chelsea star misses training session and is doubtful for clash against Scotland

The Metro claims that Chelsea star Eden Hazard is a doubt for Belgium’s game against Scotland on Friday. The 27-year-old winger missed training on Wednesday, as per the report.

Hazard has done pretty well under Maurizio Sarri this season as the Blues share the top spot in the Premier League with 12 points from four games.

The report adds that Hazard trained with the Belgium side on Tuesday and the Red Devils will face Scotland and Iceland during the break.

Simon Mignolet, Toby Alderweireld, Marouane Fellaini, Christian Benteke and Nacer Chadli were the other Belgians that missed training on Wednesday, as per the report.

The national side has not provided an official reason for Hazard skipping training and the Metro adds that the 27-year-old did travel to Bastogne for a sponsor’s event.

Eden Hazard

Hazard had a fantastic World Cup with Belgium, leading them to third place and already has two goals and two assists to his name from four Premier League outings this season.

We did well in holding onto the attacker in the summer and he seems to be enjoying playing under Maurizio Sarri.

Hopefully, there is no major injury for our star and he returns fit for our next clash against Cardiff City.

Chelsea are tied with Liverpool and Watford on 12 points each but we are yet to hit our peak under our new manager.

We must get better under Sarri in the coming months and if Hazard plays to his potential, there could be some silverware for us this season.
