“Not good enough”, “Why not?” – Some Chelsea fans are divided about possible return of club legend to Stamford Bridge

Petr Cech

Chelsea could be looking to sign former keeper Petr Cech to replace Thibaut Courtois if the Belgian leaves the club according to Sky Sports.

Cech only left us in 2015 for £10m to join Arsenal but their new boss Unai Emery has already brought in Bernd Leno for the season.

The report also claims that we are interested in Kasper Schmeichel of Leicester City to replace Courtois.
Cech did have a great time with us, having won four Premier League titles but he was replaced by Courtois and the Belgian certainly is a better goalkeeper than the former Blues man.

The 36-year-old would be an experienced player to have in the side and he would know more about the club than most of the current first-team players. But this is a move that would not make sense if we are looking for a new No.1.

Cech has declined since moving away from the Bridge and a number of Chelsea fans had their say about the possible interest in the keeper.
